ACTIVEN

Activen is a combination of phytocomplexes that act as a valuable support in the prevention of microcirculation pathologies, which are widespread in the world, especially in the case of women. The onset of this condition is associated with constitutional and acquired factors (smoking, diabetes, hypertension, atherosclerosis) which cause the subsidence of tone of the wall (endothelium) and subsequent slowing in the venous blood’s flow from the lower limbs to the heart.The extract of grape, containing PCO (proanthocyanidin), protects the blood vessel walls, counteracts the onset of inflammatory phenomena, reduces excessive venule dilatation, mitigates the sensation of fatigue and reactivates peripheral circulation. Moreover, it has an antioxidant function, which is strengthened by the presence of trans-resveratrol.

The bioflavonoids rutin and diosmin are effective and provide an increased tone and flexibility to the blood vessel’s connective tissues. They interact in the inflammatory processes by reducing the venous bed’s permeability to inflammatory substances (leukotrienes, histamine, etc.), and the activity of elastases, enzymes that break down the membrane endothelium during inflammation, thus increasing venous contractility. Together with Vitamin C, they also have a radical scavenging activity. The new formulation of Activen has been enriched in Oleuropein, a phytocomplex present in olive leaves. Once it is absorbed, it frees hydroxybutyl, a molecule with increased antioxidant function, which can facilitate endothelium of blood vessels.

The vasotonic functions of these valuable ingredients contribute to improving overall circulation, and thus facilitate better tissue oxygenation and limit the degenerative processes of the vascular bed. Finally, the active ingredients triterpenes of centella, a natural remedy used against widespread problems, facilitate the collagen synthesis and the action of fibroblasts of the venous wall, thus consolidating their structure.

Activen is indicated for reducing capillary fragility and helping to relieve edema of the lower limbs as a supportive treatment for chronic venous insufficiency. It is also highly effective in the management of acute hemorrhoidal episodes.

CONDITIONS OF USE

Take 1 tablet a day, before a main meal.
