WORKOUT

Workout is a nutritional supplement designed to restore muscle energy reserves of ATP and optimise recovery after high-intensity sessions. The formulation is based on creatine citrate, specific amino acids and mineral salts. It contains a moderate amount of carbohydrates, making it ideal for those looking to manage their body weight.
The nutritional properties of some of these ingredients have already been described previously (see Citrofos, Glutamin Powder). However, we would like to highlight the importance of creatine in the form of citrate, a feature which enhances the product’s water solubility and bioavailability. In combination with glutamine, taurine and potassium, it helps hydrate and tone muscle cells, making them more efficient and quicker at restoring muscle energy balance.
Beta-Alanine is an amino acid precursor of carnosine, a molecule with significant antioxidant properties that helps buffer muscle acidosis, a consequence of intense physical activity. This contributes to increased overall resistance to stress and faster recovery.
Arginine is an amino acid found in all living forms and is considered semi-essential or essential, depending on specific conditions (e.g., childhood, trauma, sepsis, burns). It plays a crucial role in the synthesis of nitric oxide (NO), a molecule involved in vital cardiovascular functions, and polyamine, a group of compounds that regulate the synthesis of new proteins.
Arginine, together with ornithine, has a detoxifying function, aiding in the elimination of metabolic waste accumulated in muscles during exertion. Arginine in the form of aspartate further enhances this function.
Magnesium is an essential mineral for energy production. It facilitates neuromuscular signal transmission and helps prevent cramps. Similarly, potassium is an important regulator of muscle contraction and cellular hydration.

Workout is indicated in periods of intense physical preparation to provide greater ability to withstand the training load and accelerate recovery, repair of microtraumas and muscle growth.

CONDITIONS OF USE


Dissolve 30 g per day (approximately 1 scoop and a half) in 500 ml of water and consume after physical activity.
