CARNITINE FIALE

Carnitine vials contain two different types of carnitine: carnitine tartrate and acetyl-carnitine. This last one has a stronger affinity for the neural structures, where it has energy and neuroprotective functions. Approximately 95% of the carnitine present in our organism is located in the skeletal muscle. Carnitine acts as a fatty acid-carrier during the process of beta-oxidation, in which they are demolished for energy purposes inside the inner mitochondrial membrane.

During the phases of intense aerobic effort, it is important to benefit from good carnitine availability to ensure a continued lipid metabolism and to obtain optimal and prolonged performances over time. Carnitine improves the energy yield of fats and helps to save muscle glycogen by delaying fatigue during the workout and accelerating post-exercise recovery.

The beneficial effects of carnitine were used with some success to treat overweight people, to support the cardiovascular wellbeing of the elderly, to counteract sterility associated with poor sperm motility and to improve learning and memory abilities.

Its deficiency causes fat accumulation in the adipose tissues.

The vial formula adds a new feature: the combination of acetyl-carnitine and propionyl-carnitine. Propionyl-carnitine is clinically used to treat problems like reduced peripheral circulation, congestive heart failure, erectile dysfunction, and physical fatigue.

Unlike other formulas, this is an especially useful vasodilator which can facilitate a better supply of oxygen to the peripheral tissues and is important especially during exercise in low-temperature environments, during the phase of energy reserve exhaustion.

Carnitine is indicated for overweight subjects, those suffering from fatigue or reduced vitality, and athletes who practise endurance sports.

CONDITIONS OF USE

Take 1/3 of the vial per day (equal to 8.3 ml) in the first part of the day, optionally dilute it in water.
