CITROFOS

Citrofos is a highly soluble Creatine citrate supplement.

It is presented in effervescent dosage form, which is effective and safe.

Unlike the monohydrate form and buffered creatine, which have low solubility, creatine citrate ensures much better assimilation and potentially better bio-availability. The Citrofos® formula is enriched with a sugar vehicle, which can further facilitate the assimilation of creatine and direct it towards the muscle tissue, with sodium bicarbonate as a gastric buffer.

Indeed, creatine is not very stable at the stomach’s acidic pH, where it tends to turn into creatinine, a substance toxic for our organism. The high bioavailability of the citrate form, together with the other components, guarantees a rapid transit of creatine in the stomach, and accelerates and improves its absorption. This results in the absence of any side effects in the gastrointestinal tract, as well as the possibility of reducing the intake dosage.

Creatine is naturally present in our muscle tissue in the form of phosphocreatine, which serves as an important energy reserve for short and intense maximal effort. Oral supplementation of creatine contributes to increasing the phosphocreatine’s physiological concentration in the muscle tissue. Several studies confirm its capacity to delay the perception of fatigue and to boost the increase of lean muscle mass.

CONDITIONS OF USE

Take 1 sachet per day and dissolve it in 150 ml of water. In case of an intense physical activity, you can take 2 sachets per day, for a maximum period of one consecutive month.
