RECOWELL

Recowell is a supplement designed to facilitate recovery after exercise or racing.

Recowell is made from a mixture of carbohydrates, essential amino acids and plant extracts.

After sports activities, it is essential to replenish muscle glycogen energy reserves, the primary sugar stored in muscles. To achieve this, two carbohydrates have been selected: maltodextrin, which is small and quickly absorbed, and isomaltulose, which has a slower absorption rate.

This allows you to achieve both a fast action and a slower and stable action, and thus optimise the so-called anabolic window, in which all the processes of plastic and energy recovery are activated.

In addition, our organism repairs muscle damage, reconstructs antioxidant barriers and restores the immune system after intense sports activities.

These processes occur thanks to the structural support of amino acids, which play a key role in this metabolic phase.

Recowell contains all of the essential amino acids as well as some rare ones. These are quickly absorbed and transferred to the action sites.

Of these, BCAAs are the most important, included in a 2:1:1 ratio. They stimulate the mechanism of muscle repair thanks to the ability to facilitate insulinotropic secretion and activate the mTOR-mediated protein synthesis.

Glutamine and ornithine alpha-ketoglutarate are key regulators in the reconstruction processes, as they aid in the elimination of toxins and the recovery of the immune system.

Various studies confirm that intense and prolonged endurance exercise can increase intestinal permeability and significantly reduce the population of lymphocytes T and NK, the innate defences of the organism, which make the subject more vulnerable to pathogens.

Evidence shows that glutamine strengthens the intestinal barrier and supports the increase of the lymphocytes T.

The amino acid ornithine has a crucial role in the expulsion of excess ammonium, supporting the activation of the immune cells, especially macrophages and natural killer lymphocytes.

Moreover, Recowell contains three extracts - cherry (Vitacherry®), mango (Careflow®) and pomegranate - which are rich in anthocyanins and polyphenols. Their action revolves mainly around combating the post-exercise inflammatory processes, and they are responsible for the syndrome known as DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness). These extracts can activate the nitric synthase, as they release nitric oxide, a powerful vasodilating and anti-inflammatory agent. They also activate Sirt 1 receptors and support the reconstruction of the antioxidant barriers.

INDICATIONS OF USE

Dissolve 2.5 scoops equal to 40 g in 500 ml of water, and consume at the end of a physical activity.
