MATRIX REPAIR

Matrix Repair is a nutraceutical formulation that aims to assist the endogenous synthesis of collagen and prevent damage of cartilage tissues. Collagen is a very abundant protein in the human body and is contained in various organs and tissues, in particular bones, cartilages, ligaments, hair, including the skin. A reduction in skin collagen concentration, rather than an abnormal turn-over, is therefore partly responsible for the changes that are demonstrated by joint problems and skin ageing. Even intense physical exercise can cause severe damage to muscle collagen, whose health in terms of elasticity and resistance is essential for optimal sports performance.

Matrix Repair is made up of ingredients that work synergistically on three fronts:

1. Increase the formation of cartilage tissue;
2. Provide the main elements for collagen synthesis;
3. Minimise joint inflammation.

The main ingredient is Peptan®, which is the world’s leading brand based on small collagen peptides, whose effectiveness is supported by in-depth scientific research. Peptan® contains 18 amino acids, of which 50% is represented by proline, hydroxyproline and glycine specific to Type 1 collagen, found in bones and skin. Peptan® is highly assimilable and bioavailable. MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) is a natural form of organic sulphur. It facilitates the formation of Keratin, a very resistant protein contained in nails and hair; it is very useful for the formation of connective and cartilage tissue. Glucosamine and chondroitin are used together in the treatment of osteoarthritis. Both act as cementing components of the connective and cartilage tissue structure. Sodium hyaluronate is one of the essential components that make up the proteoglycans, capable of conferring resistance and elasticity to the connective tissue; it gives the skin hydration and tone. Vitamin C from acerola and zinc are essential factors for the synthesis of collagen, to which the pomegranate extract also contributes in a specific way. Thanks to the presence of quercetin, a flavonoid with high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory power, Matrix Repair can also be useful for combating conditions of pain and muscle and joint fatigue. Quercefit® provides particularly assimilable phytosomal quercetin.

Matrix Repair facilitates the renewal of cartilage tissues and at the same time prevents damage to pre- existing ones. It is indicated as a nutritional support in the treatment of problems affecting the osteoarticular system, in structural and functional alterations of the connective tissue, following inflammation phenomena of various origins. It is also suitable for athletes, as it is useful for reducing impact inflammation, decreasing the recovery time of muscle damage and lowering post-workout fatigue levels.

CONDITIONS OF USE

Take 15 g of the product per day (equal to approximately 1 level scoop), dissolved in a glass of water or other liquid, preferably not before or after the main meals.
