MSM

MSM is a dietary supplement made from methylsulfonylmethane, a purified form of organic sulphur that is naturally present in all living organisms. In the order of quantity, sulphur is the third naturally occurring mineral in our organism after calcium and phosphorus. Nails and hair are made up mainly of an extremely strong high-sulphured protein called keratin. The cartilaginous and connective tissues also contain proteins with sulphur bonds. Inorganic sulphur is hardly absorbable, whereas organic sulphur, which is biologically active, is extremely important for the health of any living organism. The intake of MSM has potential positive effects for the treatment of the following pathologies: osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, lumbago, cephalea, migraine, muscle pain, bursitis, sclerosis, post-burn and surgical scars, etc.

MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) counteracts inflammatory processes and, in particular, the activity of cortisol, which is a natural anti-inflammatory hormone produced by the organism. MSM is also an adjuvant in natural defence mechanisms, regulating the formation of antibodies and immune complexes during metabolism. MSM boosts the effect of well-known antioxidant nutrients, such as Vitamins C and E, coenzyme Q10, selenium, etc. Sulphur is also necessary for the formation of glutathione, considered the most powerful antioxidant among all nutrients. Finally, MSM has a cellular detoxifying function.

MSM can be used as a dietary supplement in case of chronic and osteoarticular, psoriasis or autoimmunity inflammations, to improve the resistance and consistency of nails and hair.

CONDITIONS OF USE

Take 1 tablet per day, with half a glass of water.
