Zinc is a trace element and an essential component of various enzymes that act in the processes of cell respiration, blood pH regulation, synthesis of protein and collagen, necessary for skin integrity and glow. When combined with Vitamin C, zinc is a great healing agent and can effectively provide an excellent skin elasticity. This is why it is successfully used in the prevention and treatment of skin stretch marks. It is involved in superoxide dismutase (SOD), an enzyme with antioxidant and antiviral function, which actively stimulates the immune defences and has an active role in maintaining the health of the male reproductive system. Semen contains a high concentration of zinc that has a regulatory effect on the prostate gland, inhibits 5 alpha-reductase and facilitates the production of LH. For this reason, it is very useful when taken in high-dosage cycles, as it boosts muscle tissue growth and overall tone.

Zinc also helps regulate the synthesis of thyroid hormones.

Copper is an essential trace element used for the prevention of anaemia, it fights infections and is implicated in superoxide dismutases (SODs) as well. Therefore, the supplementation of selenium could have a great impact for the prevention of thyroid dysfunction. Zinc, copper and selenium are present in an organic form which guarantees their maximum bioavailability.
