TRIBOSID

Tribosid is a supplement containing plant extracts from Tribulus, Suma, Fenugreek and Gynostemma, which are useful thanks to their tonic and sustaining function in the organism of those who practise intense physical activity or appear tired and fatigued.

Tribulus Terrestris is a plant capable of improving the endocrine activity and increasing physical vigour and mood. Some studies confirm its potential activity in erectile dysfunction and in facilitating the increase of sperm counts. It also seems to facilitate the increase of androgen receptors and therefore to promote the growth of muscle tissue, provided that it’s combined with weight training and an adequate diet. This is possible thanks to the presence of steroidal saponins, especially protodioscin. Suma is an adaptogenic plant capable of improving resistance of the organism, facilitating cellular oxygenation and stimulating immune responses, thus fighting psychophysical fatigue. It contains ß-Ecdysone, a substance with steroid-like structure and possibly a hormonal precursor.

Fenugreek is a plant rich in phytosterols which can facilitate insulin secretion and, consequently, protein synthesis as well as the increase of muscle glycogen reserves. It also helps to accelerate recovery.

Gynostemma is a plant with tonic-adaptogenic action that is valued 4 times higher than Ginseng. It is also called “the immortality herb” because of its extraordinary antioxidant properties: it slows down the ageing process, keeps cholesterol levels under control, boosts memory and supports the liver and heart functions. It also provides energy for the muscles.
