Phytosomal Coenzyme Q10 Ubiqsome® is an organic molecule naturally found in biological membranes, particularly in mitochondria, where it plays a key role in cellular respiration. Coenzyme Q10 demonstrates remarkable antioxidant activity and plays an essential role in helping to counteract the side effects associated with statin therapy, the class of cholesterol-lowering drugs. Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), derived from carrot, is an enzyme belonging to the oxidoreductase family that is able to neutralize the superoxide radical, one of the main reactive oxygen species responsible for cellular damage. Finally, Luteolin, derived from bitter orange, is a flavone with numerous biological effects. Among these, its protective effect against oxidative processes is particularly important. It is considered one of the most potent and effective polyphenols capable of inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines.
