EMAFOL

Emafol is a compound of ingredients that guarantees adequate supplementation of iron and specific vitamins with anti-anaemic function. It contains two innovative ingredients:

• SUNACTIVE®, a microencapsulated ferric pyrophosphate dispersed in stable and highly bioavailable emulsion, clinically tested and lacking typical ferrous odour and taste. It has great gastric tolerance
• Lactoferrin, a whey protein capable of transporting iron from the intestine to the blood, and from there to the reserve tissues, boosting its absorption. Typically, the assimilation of iron by mouth is limited; however, lactoferrin ensures greater iron absorption. It also has antimicrobial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and prebiotic function at the intestinal barrier level.

The presence of Vitamin C and rosehip bioflavonoids further improves the assimilation of iron and guarantees its assimilation as Ferrous Iron bivalent Fe2+. Vitamin B12 and folic acid are important anti-anemia vitamins; they facilitate the synthesis of haemoglobin (oxygen carrier) and must be introduced daily within the diet. Their deficiency causes anaemia, a condition that predominantly affects women.

Emafol is the ideal product to prevent anaemia caused by iron deficiencies, but it is also useful to strengthen and stimulate the immune defences against bacterial and viral infections.

CONDITIONS OF USE

It is recommended to take 1 capsule a day, on a full stomach.
