ASPARTIC

Aspartic is a formula designed to improve muscle tone and efficiency and to boost the nervous system’s activity. D-aspartic acid is a non-essential amino acid for the human organism, and is produced in the pituitary glands and in testicles from the laevorotatory form of the aspartic acid itself. It plays an essential metabolic role in several tissues. Its availability facilitates the Krebs cycle. In the central nervous system it works as an excitatory neurotransmitter, thus promoting the synthesis of glutamate, thanks to which concentration and physical endurance improve and the onset of fatigue is delayed. In the liver it facilitates the excretion of excess ammonia, and it is a component in AST transaminase, which has a key role in the amino acids’ metabolism. An authoritative scientific study (Topo et. al. (2009) Biol.Endocrinol.7120) seems to confirm that D-aspartic acid can positively influence the production of LH and testosterone if taken for 12 consecutive days in a dosage of 3g per day. The nettle’s extract, obtained by the leaves, as well as being useful in case of kidney stone disease, hyperazotemia, gout and alopecia, is mainly employed in case of benign prostatic hypertrophy thanks to the presence of sterols and flavonoids, and to boost the anabolic activity following the increase of free testosterone in the bloodstream.

Zinc becomes part of the structure of several metalloenzymes that catalyse fundamental reactions in the organism; it is an effective immune defence modulator, it boosts collagen synthesis, facilitates the production of androgenic hormones and participates in sperm synthesis. Zinc deficiencies can delay growth, cause immune dysfunctions and increase the risk of infections, oligospermia, loss of the sense of taste and appetite, diarrhoea, weight loss, a slowdown of wound, scar and skin dysfunctions healing, abortion and neural tube defects in the foetus.
