FLORACTIV

Floractiv is a dietary supplement with Kluyveromyces and Saccharomyces boulardii, both of which are antibiotic-resistant fungi and live lactic cultures. They are able to facilitate a balanced colonisation of the intestinal microbial flora, altered by disordered eating, antibiotic therapies, diarrhoea and stress. These disorders often cause bothersome symptoms such as constipation, diarrhoea, bloating, bad breath, skin impurities, etc.

Two capsules of Floractiv (recommended daily intake) contain 16 billion c.f.u., of which 10 billions are Saccharomyces boulardii.

• Kluyveromyces B0399 is an innovative lactic yeast capable of producing lactic acid in the intestine, an activity normally assigned to lactobacilli. It is able to overcome the gastric barrier unscathed, and it is particularly resistant to antibiotics, even more so than saccharomyces boulardii. It also has the ability to digest lactose in the intestine. Thanks to these remarkable characteristics, it is able to facilitate the most efficient balance and colonisation of the intestinal bacterial flora, through which it boosts a natural and effective modulation of the immune response, capable of attenuating inflammatory phenomena associated with irritable bowel syndrome and celiac disease.
• Saccharomyces boulardii: it has an extraordinary effect on the immune system, prevents and “cures” diarrhoea and is ideal to restore the microbial flora during antibiotic therapy; it has an effective preventive and therapeutic action against gastrointestinal candidiasis.
• Lactobacillus acidophilus: it facilitates the digestion of dairy products, counteracts the development of pathogenic and fungal flora, supports the activity of the immune system, participates in the endogenous production of Vitamin B, and creates the ideal environment for good digestion and food absorption.
• Lactobacillus ramnosus: it produces lactic acid in the intestine, thus creating the ideal environment for lactobacilli and an inhospitable ambience for pathogenic bacteria.

It also contains inulin, a soluble fibre that reduces the formation of intestinal gas and facilitates the development of a beneficial microflora (prebiotic function).

Floractiv is ideal to prevent and fight situations of acute diarrhoea and “travellers’ diarrhoea”. It is also recommended in case of disordered eating, antibiotic therapy, gastrointestinal candidiasis and stress, all conditions that could disturb the bowel’s wellbeing, and is useful to strengthen our natural defences.

CONDITIONS OF USE

Take 1 capsule twice a day, before main meals.
