How’s working?
● Isotonic glucosaline
● Sequential carbohydrates
● Xtreme endurance
Iron Edge is a saline energy food supplement dedicated to those who practice cross-country sports. Its formulation was studied in the field in collaboration with Trisport & Health, a team of triathletes voted for Iron Man and led by Prof. Camporese.
It is characterized by a mixture of sequential and complementary carbohydrates, capable of ensuring optimal gastrointestinal tolerance and assimilation during sports.
The dosage of sodium, potassium and magnesium mineral salts, the balance of the chloride anion, contained in the product refer to the relative concentration in liters of sweat during exercise.
Iron Edge dissolved in water in the right dose produces an isotonic solution, able to easily cross the intestinal barrier and reach the bloodstream.
Another peculiarity of Iron Edge is the reduced presence of aroma; in fact, the excessive presence of aromatic elements during intense physical activity thanks to the interaction with the nervous system can alter the normal cellular metabolic balance.
The mixture of simple and complex carbohydrates is precisely balanced to “exploit” to the maximum the potential for assimilation and guaranteeing a constant and functional energy supply to the working muscles at the endurance exercise rhythm.
Recent studies seem to confirm that elite athletes, thanks also to "intestinal training" (gut training), are able to assimilate up to 90-120 g / h and that this dosage of carbohydrates is associated with optimal performance. Iron Man is an extreme sport in which this type of approach could be absolutely successful.
Properties
Iron Edge is suggested as an energetic and saline support in endurance sports.
Dissolve 30 g in 500 ml of water, and take as needed.
