Glut 4 is a dietary supplement containing useful active ingredients, which are useful to modulate a high blood sugar level. Inside muscle cells and adipocytes, insulin acts by boosting the activity of the GLUT 4 glucose (glucose 4 transporters), facilitating the reduction of the plasmatic levels of glucose, which is transferred from the bloodstream to the cell’s interior.

There, it is either used as an energy resource, or transformed into fats.

Inositol-6P-phosphate is an insulin action mediator and is necessary to activate key enzymes in glucose metabolism.

Under certain conditions of insulin-resistance, altered renal excretion of inositol occurs.

Several studies have proven that supplementation of this mediator improves the glucidic metabolism.

The extract of fenugreek, titrated in 4-hydroxyisoleucine, delays glucose absorption, thanks to its fibre component.

It increases the pancreatic secretion of insulin and the expression of the cell receptors which bond it, especially in the presence of high levels of sugar in the blood.

Dried saffron extract improves cell uptake of glucose.

Glut 4 is indicated as a nutritional supplement in case of type 2 diabetes to facilitate glycaemic balance. In addition, it can also be a useful support for athletes during the post-workout recovery

phase, particularly so when associated with the intake of simple sugars and oligopeptides.

Take 1 capsule, three times a day, after main meals, with a sip of water.
