Activen is an association of phytocomplexes that acts as a precious support in the prevention of microcirculation pathologies - especially venous insufficiency, which is prevalent in women.

The onset of this condition is associated with constitutional and acquired factors (smoking, diabetes, hypertension, atherosclerosis) that lead to the vessel wall’s (endothelium) defective tonicity and subsequent slowing in the venous blood’s flow from the lower limbs to the heart.

Venous stasis and oedema cause a knock-on phenomenon that, if not adequately counteracted, could lead to obstructive thrombosis.

The extract of grape, containing PCO (proanthocyanidin), protects the blood vessel walls, contrasts the onset of inflammatory phenomena, reduces excessive venule dilatation, mitigates the sensation of fatigue and reactivates peripheral circulation.

It also has an antioxidant function, which is strengthened by the presence of trans-resveratrol.

The bioflavonoids rutin and diosmine, obtained from Ruscus and Citrus, are effective and confer increased tone and flexibility to the blood vessel’s connective tissues.

They interact in the inflammatory processes by reducing the venous bed’s permeability to inflammatory substances (leukotrienes, histamine, etc.), and the activity of elastases, the enzymes that break down the membrane endothelium during inflammation, thus increasing venous contractility. Together with Vitamin C, they also have a radical scavenging activity.

The vasotonic properties of these precious ingredients contribute to improving circulation in general, promoting better tissue oxygenation and limiting the vascular bed’s degenerative processes, such as atherosclerosis and occlusive conditions.

Activen is suggested in order to reduce capillary fragility, combat lower limb oedema, and as a support in case of venous insufficiency.

It is highly effective in the event of a haemorrhoidal crisis.

Take 1 tablet a day, before main meals. For phlebotonic activity, take up to 3 tablets a day.

In the course of hemorrhoidal crisis 2 tablets 3 times a day for 3 days, then 2 tablets a day, at least for a week.
