Fosfolipid PS is a complete supplement made from phospholipids, the cell membrane’s essential components. More specifically, it is enriched with phosphatidylserine (PS), which is not naturally occurring but is produced by our organism.

It is obtained from an extraction process starting with soy lecithin.

Just like phosphatidylcholine, it is an essential component of the cell membrane; it has been studied as it seems to significantly improve mental clarity and the cognitive functions, and it protects the fatigued subject from stress.

Phospholipids, and phosphatidylcholine in particular, are indeed extremely effective in contrasting fatty deposits in the liver (steatosis), and are useful in the event of psoriasis and skin alterations.

Phosphatidylserine (PS) in particular contributes to controlling the secretion of cortisol and ACTH (“Cortisol Block” action), hormones that are normally secreted in case of signs of physical stress, and which promote the catabolism of glycogen deposits and muscles to keep high energy levels.

PS seems to act as a mediator in the secretion of testosterone and parasympathetic neuromodulators, especially by increasing the production of acetylcholine. It is employed in Alzheimer’s disease.

Fosfolipid PS is suggested to be used in case of cognitive deficits, skin alterations or psoriasis. It is recommended for particularly stressed individuals, such as endurance athletes, who need to improve their resistance to fatigue.

Its benefits seem to be associated to its continual intake for at least a couple of months.

Fosfolipid PS is also rich in phosphatidylcholine and all the main phospholipids, which makes the product an interesting cell nutrient.

Take up to 5 vegicaps a day, with half a glass of water, after a meal.
